Revenue Per Mile – This is typically the total paid rate per mile (including any fuel surcharge) based on the miles between the shipper and the receiver. This is also known as Revenue Per Loaded Mile.
You must convert your Revenue Per Loaded Mile to Revenue Per Mile For All Miles (empty and loaded).
Remember your Cost Per Mile is based on all miles driven empty and loaded. When you convert your revenue you can accurately compare your revenue to your cost (Apples to Apples ).
